Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Looking Glass unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Derek Lam comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a voluminous floral mood: Floral Notes, Magnolia and Tonka bean. Here 3 notes sound as one coherent layer, forming the effect of a living bouquet that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The middle and base stages are felt as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. The gender direction is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.
