Secret Venue — a fragrance by Fakoshima Perfumes

Secret Venue by Fakoshima Perfumes is a 2025 unisex eau de parfum.

This expressive composition blends oriental, fruity, gourmand and spicy facets: it is sweet, rich and multilayered, yet versatile enough to unfold differently on men's and women's skin.

The fragrance was created by Konstantin Shilyaev and Yaroslav Simonov.

For a brand that began its journey in 2012 with an eccentric visual identity, Secret Venue continues its bold creative expansion, carrying its love of unconventional visual solutions into the olfactory realm.

There is no pursuit of minimalism here: the perfume plays with contrasts, combining juicy fruits, dessert-like sweetness, boozy nuances and warm woody-amber depth.

Character and development

The impression of Secret Venue revolves around juicy mango, the searing sweetness of burnt sugar and sparkling rosé champagne.

Pink pepper adds a light spicy vibration to the opening, while violet leaf brings a cool green nuance that keeps the fruity-gourmand accord from becoming too straightforward.

As it develops, the composition grows fuller and softer.

Frangipani and immortelle lend the heart a sunny floral and subtly honeyed tone; meringue and mangosteen reinforce its fruity-dessert mood, while rum adds a warm, almost cocktail-like nuance.

Cedar, vetiver and a suede accord shape the fragrance with rich texture: its sweetness gradually takes on a woody, dry and elegant edge.

In the base, Secret Venue sounds deeper and more serene.

Amber, bourbon vanilla and marzipan create a soft gourmand warmth, neroli refreshes the trail, while oud and patchouli add a dark woody-spicy contrast.

Powdery nuances bring these accents together, leaving a smooth and comforting finish on the skin.

Wearability and sillage

Secret Venue is ideal for those who enjoy noticeable, sweet-and-spicy fragrances with a fruity opening and a complex base.

It is a versatile choice for cool spring, autumn and winter days, particularly suitable for evenings, dates, parties or atmospheric events.

In warm weather, it is best applied moderately so that its rich gourmand and amber facets unfold beautifully and comfortably.

The fragrance has moderate sillage: it is clearly noticeable within your personal space and leaves a recognizable cloud, without trying to fill the entire room.

Two to three sprays are enough for application to the skin — for example, on the wrists and neck.

The same amount can be applied to clothing, preferably on the inside of the fabric, while taking care with delicate materials.

Its place in the brand's collection

Secret Venue clearly reflects Fakoshima Perfumes' characteristic love of unexpected combinations.

Mango, champagne, meringue and marzipan stand alongside suede, oud, vetiver and patchouli, so the fragrance feels less like a simple sweet composition and more like a carefully constructed, contrasting image.

Those drawn to rich oriental-gourmand fragrances with a fruity spark may also want to explore The Spirit of Dubai Turath.

Secret Venue, however, retains its own character: it is defined by a sparkling fruity accord, dessert-like softness and suede-like woods that gradually transition into a warm amber-vanilla base.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. The brand's new release comes in an insanely beautiful bottle, it shimmers all over.
And the gourmand side itself is very unconventional. It doesn't try to suffocate you with buns, cookies and a ton of candy, which is a separate plus. There's lots of air here, the mood instantly feels lighter, and even after a nasty workday you want to smile.
I smell mango, mango gum, maybe even soda, caramel lollipops and that very burnt sugar from a spoon in childhood 😁 And marzipaaaaaan too
