Description of the composition

The composition of Tear You Apart Extrait unfolds as an expressive line of development, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Fakoshima Perfumes is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract keeps the right density and pace of development.

In the top tier you meet spicy sparkling top notes: Anise, Pink pepper, Rum and Saffron. Exactly these 4 notes build voluminous spicy depth that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the middle phase you detect Juniper berries, Nutmeg, Suede and Vetiver keeping a tempting fruity direction.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Gourmet, Wood, Leather and Spicy without random overlap. Additional accords such as Alcoholic expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Spicy, Drinks, Fruit and Leather. It also reaches into Wood and Gourmet. At family level the composition sits in East, Leather and Wood.

In summary Tear You Apart Extrait holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

Tear You Apart Extrait, to be honest, doesn't differ all that much from its original version. It's become denser and thicker, but there's less lightness in it. All the key notes are there, but the saffron now smells brighter and drier, even somewhat toxic. The fruity-gourmand part, strangely, has become colder, although the sweetness remains the same. The woody-leather accord looks darker and more serious. The increased concentration, in my opinion, didn't benefit the fragrance. The original EdP seems more interesting and multi-layered. The longevity and sillage of both are almost identical - just mind-blowing. If you like a fragrance that lasts a long time and spreads everywhere, then Fakoshima Perfumes has a surprise for you )
