Let's start with the spices. In the first phase of the fragrance, saffron dominates, which, it must be said, is quite sharp and not the most friendly. It sets the tone for the leather accord, which seems to be drenched in sweet rum. Interestingly, this leather accord doesn't soften the fragrance; on the contrary, it gives it nervousness and excitement.
In the spicy accord, you can catch notes of clove and anise, which, combined with sugar, create the illusion of rum, supported by vetiver. But let's talk about sweetness. The gourmand accord of cherry jam with the pit adds a glamorous touch to the fragrance, and this makes it quite interesting.
The perfumer managed to create a composition where all elements interact but remain contrasting. Tear You Apart behaves both stably and variably. Its sweetness is not cloying, but rather rich, with light notes of coumarin, which, by the way, is used in tobacco.
Vetiver plays an important role here, supporting the leather and balancing the sweetness, giving the fragrance volume. But there's no tranquility in it - rather, it's a nervous and 'high' fragrance. Personally, I lack roundness and fullness, but perhaps the sharp edges and wild character were intended. If it weren't for the claims of gender neutrality, I would call it perfumed gay punk
