Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Eau Fantasque evolves as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Fragonard is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Ambery, Fruit, Citrus and Floral. The framework further includes Whiteflower.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a resinous-sweet mood: Ambergris, Currant, Grapefruit, Hyacinth and Jasmine.

The middle and base stages are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Amber with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. For persistence Low indicates a stable lasting impression.

Ugh, this perfume definitely didn't work out for me! On my skin, it smells way too harsh and sour, just awful! It's unpleasant not only on the skin but also from the blotter, it's not pleasing either. How unbearable this is!!!

This fragrance has become one of my favorites. The juicy blackcurrant here is simply magnificent, and you can feel not only the berry itself but also a slight tartness of the leaves. The flowers are very delicate and calm, and the grapefruit at the beginning doesn't cause acidity; rather, it resembles the sweetness of marmalade slices, but without excessive sugar, with a characteristic bitterness. It's truly an unusual combination of tenderness and energy. The perfume seems active, yet it doesn't call for action

The fragrance evokes mixed feelings, like something elusive. French elegance is indeed present, but it seems lost in everyday life. Green notes and blackcurrant at the start sound fresh but quickly disappear, leaving only a faint trace. White flowers in the heart, with their indolic note, might deter those unfamiliar with such nuances. The base, alas, is almost imperceptible, as if dissolving into the air, leaving only a faint memory of itself
