Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Grain de Soleil evolves as a living composition, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Fragonard is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Floral, Wood and Powdery with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. In longevity terms Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

As soon as the fragrance opens you catch delicate white floral opening notes: Heliotrope, Jasmine and Orange blossom.

When the opening settles you notice Cinnamon, Iris and Rose holding a opulent floral direction.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Spicy, Floral, Whiteflower and Balsamic. The framework further includes Wood and Gourmet.

Overall Grain de Soleil reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This perfume is just awful. No warmth at all, just a suffocating heaviness. Compare it to a cashmere sweater? Nah, it's more like an old, worn-out rag. No peace, just irritation. I don't recommend it

I agree you're right about Novaya Zarya. I'm fond of it too, but sometimes the fragrances disappoint, as if they lose their original magic. Grain de Soleil is truly a chic and warm fragrance, it's like an embrace. It's pleasant to wrap yourself in it, like a cozy blanket, especially when autumn is already at the doorstep. It's like finding your little sun on gray days 🍂

Fragonard in France is a brand everyone knows, like Novaya Zarya here, for example. If you dig deeper (and I will!), the originality of their fragrances doesn't quite reach the level of Zarya (though the quality, of course, is a bit higher - France, what can you say). After trying many compositions, I was starting to lose hope (they were all so bland and unexpressive), but then I stumbled upon one bottle that stood out from the rest. Now THIS is a fragrance! Chic and brilliant! Thick, oriental, warm, and sweet - exactly the kind I like. With a vanilla-amber trail. Very beautiful. )

The scent is clearly oriental. The sweetness of rose intertwines with spices, creating a lipstick and smoky feel. It's bright and long-lasting, leaving a noticeable sillage that will definitely attract attention. Not suitable for the office, of course
