Description of the composition

The composition of Confidentiel is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The style of Fragonard is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Wood with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is masculine, which clarifies the composition character. In longevity terms Middle points to a sustained drydown presence. In diffusion Weak shows the style of diffusion around the wearer.

Right at the start you meet spicy sparkling top notes: Black Pepper, Grapefruit and Pink pepper.

In the heart you meet Frankincense and Magnolia holding a deep balsamic direction.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Spicy, Citrus, Balsamic and Floral. The framework further includes Wood. At family level the composition sits in Fern.

Overall Confidentiel sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence
Low (1 to 2 hours)
2
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

2
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The astringency and spiciness of this fragrance evoke sad memories in me. It's so brutal that sometimes it feels like it takes something important with it. There's something in it that makes you think about what can no longer be brought back. It's hard to explain, but this scent leaves a feeling of loss )

The scent is really interesting and generally not bad, although its longevity is average. It lasts for about an hour and a half of development, and then it settles into the base and stops changing. It's almost impossible to find it by chance in stores!! Unless you're really lucky. Mostly, you can only buy it in specialized shops. I stumbled upon it a couple of times - once in Paris and again in Grasse. You won't be able to store it for long, a maximum of up to a year… no more

I recently visited the Fragonard factory in Nice, where I stopped for argan oil for my wife. Out of curiosity, I decided to try some men's fragrances. One of them surprised me - the smell reminded me of cannabis :) Slightly sweet, but I liked it. I bought it right away, without hesitation
