Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Chypre (original) is built as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Godet is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

In the top tier you detect radiant lemon-bergamot first notes: Bergamot, Black Pepper, Lemon and Rose. These 4 notes build a burst of citrus freshness that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

When the opening settles you sense Cedar, Galbanum and Iris carrying a structural woody direction.

The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Spicy, Floral and Wood. The framework further includes Green, Balsamic, Earthy / Mossy and Aromatic. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Aromatic, Spicy and Wood.
