Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Hayden unfolds as a living composition, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Hollister is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Floral, Fruit and Wood with each one in a clear role. The gender direction is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect juicy fruity first note: Pomegranate. Exactly this 1 note shapes sweet sensation of summer nectar that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the heart you detect Lotus and Rose keeping a harmonious floral direction. In the base the composition is fixed through Sandalwood, shaping a earthy woody-resinous trail.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Fruit, Floral, Wood and Whiteflower. Within olfactory families the composition sits in Floral and Fruit.

Taken together Hayden reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. What a damn cloying scent, just unbearably bright! At first, it's like freshness and tartness, but then it's just this rose with sandalwood, and that's it. Longevity, by the way, is so-so. I don't know who could like this, but it just pisses me off!

It didn't work for me. At first, there's some sharp chemical scent with fruits, and then the smell of old lipstick appears, so heavy and greasy. Not a pleasant scent at all

The smell of this rose only brings melancholy; it's so sharp and heavy. It's hard to perceive, and sometimes even unbearable. I don't understand how such gorgeous scents and this one can coexist in the same line. The creators seem to have lost their way, they don't have a unified style 😔
