Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Skarb is shaped as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Humiecki & Graef is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

In a unified mixed pyramid the fragrance opens as a single chord with a resinous voluminous mood: Absinthe, Barley, Celery, Chamomile, Frankincense, Myrrh and musk.

The heart and base are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Musc and Vegetable add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence Very high points to a sustained drydown presence.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Drinks, Fruit, Green and Floral. It also reaches into Balsamic, Musk, Aromatic and Earthy / Mossy.

In summary Skarb holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.
