Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Jacques Fath Ellipse begins with sparkling aldehydes, citrusy bergamot and mandarin, complemented by a fresh green accord, creating a bright and lively start.

At the heart of the composition, floral notes of jasmine and rose from the White Flowers and Floral groups unfold, harmoniously combined with spicy nutmeg and earthy vetiver, adding depth and warmth.

The base consists of woody cedar and pine, mossy oakmoss from the Earthy / Mossy group and sensual musk, creating a lasting and cozy finish.

This complex structure allows the fragrance to evolve smoothly on the skin, from the initial freshness to the deep, enveloping base, making each stage of development exciting and memorable.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance reminds me of first love, when every moment is remembered forever. You want to relive every second, but alas, it's impossible 😔 Many other interesting scents will appear in life, but they will be completely different. And you'll try to bring back those very feelings, but disappointment will follow. It's impossible to repeat what's already passed, you can only try to copy. It's such a shame that this magical, alluring, bitterish fragrance that brought such pleasure is so hard to find now 🌳 All that's left is to recall those unforgettable moments and enjoy the memories of how wonderful it was ✨

I once had this perfume! In 1982, a friend brought it from France, and I was over the moon with happiness! The scent is simply magical, still vivid in my memory. Very long-lasting, luxurious, and beautiful. I'd gladly buy something similar now to relive those joyful moments when I used it 😊

My friend had Ellipse, and I had Poison. I really liked Ellipse, but I never managed to find it. It was a fragrance that could be described as clean, cold, and futuristic. It's such a shame that Ellipse only remains in memories, now it's just an unfulfilled dream 😔

I've known this fragrance for a long time, and honestly, many of the ones that were popular before have lost their appeal for me. I don't know why. Maybe they just don't smell as interesting anymore, maybe I'm just tired of them, or perhaps my tastes and priorities have changed. But Ellipse - that's a different story altogether! It hasn't lost its relevance. For me, this fragrance is still a true benchmark of French perfumes! 🌸 Delicate, subtle, and noble, it wonderfully combines different notes, giving incredible and unforgettable sensations. Simply a divine scent, I won't say more! ✨

This fragrance truly became something special, it's hard to miss. It's herbaceous and unique, you won't find anything like it anymore. It's a shame it's no longer produced, it's a real loss for all perfume lovers 😔

The fragrance is, of course, old-fashioned. The aldehydes here just hit you head-on. Maybe I used to like that style, but it's not for me now. Overall, the scent isn't bad, but it's not my choice 😒

I've tried this fragrance several times, approaching it from all angles. In the beginning, it's truly impressive: fresh, bright, with cool notes, simply gorgeous. But then something unpleasant appears at the end, spoiling the whole impression. I can't get used to it; it seems it's not for me

I remember trying this French perfume for the first time. Honestly, back then, I was just disappointed by its bitter-fresh green scent. Years later, of course, I understood it, but I never managed to really bond with it. It's like something important slipped away, and now there's only sadness from the memories

I don't understand what everyone sees in it. I wasn't going to try it, but something made me take a look. Miniatures appeared at Letu, and I couldn't resist. But, surprisingly, it turned out to be not bad. Though, honestly, I don't see anything special about it 😒

I get that it takes time to really understand a perfume, but I still want to share my first impressions. I did two sprays on my elbows, and this scent just completely enveloped me. Next time, I'll probably use less, because even in cold weather, it's too intense for me 😳

Ellipse Jacques Fath turned out to be too sharp and not at all feminine for me. I used it more because I felt bad just throwing it away, rather than for pleasure. At that time, genuine Ellipse perfumes were hard to find, so I decided not to let them go to waste. But now, honestly, I wouldn't wear it. There are many other fragrances that are more complex but much more pleasant for my nose. Now that I have the option, choosing the right perfume is no trouble at all ))

The fragrance, which once had a light spicy sillage and barely noticeable lingering notes, now seems like a distant memory. That subtle haze and longevity, which were so memorable, no longer bring joy. Ellipse has only left traces in my memory. If a chance to buy the same bottle ever appears, I will definitely refuse. Let it stay in the past, I don't want to go back to it 😒
