Sisley Eau de Sisley 1, released in 2009, is a vivid representative of Sisley, a brand that since 1976 has embodied French luxury through the synthesis of family values and a scientific approach to phytotherapy.

This fragrance is part of the Eau de Sisley collection, showcasing the house's commitment to natural ingredients and aesthetic perfection.

Founded by Count Hubert d'Ornano and his wife Isabelle, Sisley is renowned for its botanical compositions, and Eau de Sisley 1 continues this tradition, offering a fresh and refined experience.

This women's fragrance in eau de toilette concentration is ideal for daily wear, especially in spring and summer days, thanks to its medium trail, which leaves a delicate but memorable trace.

Description of the composition

The pyramid of Sisley Eau de Sisley 1 begins with a sparkling explosion of citrus: grapefruit and mandarin create a juicy and refreshing start, complemented by spicy accents of pink pepper and spices.

At the heart of the composition, an elegant bouquet of jasmine unfolds, adding floral tenderness, while juniper and tea contribute green and herbal shades, creating depth and balance.

The base of the fragrance is built on warm and earthy notes of patchouli and musk, which provide longevity and a soft, enveloping finish.

This combination makes Eau de Sisley 1 multifaceted and intriguing, perfectly reflecting the fougère and green families, with notes from the citrus, white floral, woody, green, spicy, and musky groups.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. It smells kind of nice, but it's too sweet and fresh. The scent isn't bad, but the longevity is just AWFUL! We broke up faster than I could enjoy it

I can't say this fragrance impressed me. A floral chypre, yes, light, but somehow too faded. It reminds me of its "older brother," but only in its weakest version. Grapefruit and juniper are there, of course, but they don't save the situation. The patchouli is greenish, but doesn't evoke any emotions. Aquatic jasmine? Who needs that if you just want to wash your face? Longevity is only 4 hours, and the sillage is a total joke. Close to the skin, as if hiding from everyone. Unisex? I don't know who this would suit. Big greetings to the creators, but this just wasn't for me

What a beautiful, yet at the same time sharp, fragrance! Juniper and cold citruses just overflow in it. Over time, bitter floral notes appear, leaving a strange aftertaste. Interesting, but definitely strange!!!

What a cool summer fragrance! It really delights with its scent. You can feel the freshness of citrus, as well as light notes of tea and jasmine. Juniper adds an interesting accent, and spices give it a special twist. The longevity of the fragrance is good, and the sillage isn't too intrusive, which is also nice. A real feast for the senses! )

I really liked this perfume! But here's the problem, our summer doesn't allow us to enjoy such fragrances. It seems perfectly suited for a cooler Mediterranean climate. Here, it can be stuffy, and sometimes even cold. I really like the note of tea with grapefruit and light spices. It's beautiful, but not that simple. It depends on the weather, and if something goes wrong, it can start to feel oppressive or, conversely, become sharp, like hedgehog quills!!!

Tea with juniper and citrus. Spicy notes with ice, but it's not for me. I just don't feel like wearing something like this 😒

Jasmine, of course, isn't bad, but there's something off about it. It's not too sweet, but it also doesn't leave a vivid impression. The lightness and beauty people talk about seem to be just an illusion. Patchouli in the base might be appropriate, but it doesn't save the situation. In the end, the fragrance seems too balanced, which sometimes even gets tiring. I don't know, maybe I expected more
