The composition of Ajar is built as a living composition, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The signature of Jardins d’Écrivains is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Fruit with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Wood add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

I tried this fragrance, and at first, I was even surprised by how it looked. But remembering how it was with Room 1015 Yesterday, which reminded me of shaving foam, I realized that Ajar wasn't for me. I decided to try it a second time to be sure, and then Valery's comment about it smelling very masculine came to mind. I wanted to argue with him, but in the end... Yes, I applied it again today, and it looks like I'll keep doing it. It's a fougère, of course, but this softness and neatness of transitions from floral notes to mossy ones, lemon highlights, and spicy nuances reminiscent of nutmeg, all of this is truly impressive. But, honestly, I can't say it's my favorite ))

What an amazing fragrance! It combines masculine energy and contrasting notes. The citruses here are bright and tart, while frankincense oil and jasmine add depth. Counterbalancing them are oakmoss with its maturity and soft sandalwood, which gives roundness. But, in fact, it's not just the notes that impress, but how all these ingredients are assembled into a harmonious composition. Watching the fragrance unfold is a true pleasure

The floral-green scent is not bad, of course, but for me, it's more suitable for men. Although, perhaps ladies will appreciate this strict woody elegance hidden behind the flowers. The oakmoss here, by the way, is quite neat, but still, there's a somewhat sad feeling. Overall, I don't know what's so cool about it, but maybe someone will like it
