Identity and Release History

Lanvin Eclat de Fleurs, released in 2015, is a perfume that serves as an elegant addition to the Les Éclats collection from Lanvin.

The brand, founded by Jeanne Lanvin in 1889, is renowned for its Parisian sophistication, and this fragrance continues the tradition, offering a modern interpretation of the floral-fruity theme.

It is perfect for those seeking a light and cheerful perfume that can highlight individuality in everyday situations.

Positioning and Wearability

Positioned as a female fragrance, Lanvin Eclat de Fleurs has a barely perceptible trail, making it ideal for office days or gentle dates.

The concentration of perfume water provides a soft and lasting presence that unfolds gradually, without overwhelming those around.

Thanks to its fresh accents, the fragrance is particularly good in the spring-summer season, adding a touch of lightness and optimism.

Authors and Influence

The creation of Lanvin Eclat de Fleurs involved talented perfumers Anne Flipo and Nicolas Beaulieu, whose experience in combining floral and fruity notes gave the fragrance a unique harmony.

This release strengthens Lanvin's reputation as a brand that skillfully balances between classic elegance and modern trends, attracting fans who appreciate sophistication and accessibility.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Lanvin Eclat de Fleurs begins with a refreshing top note of pear, which sets a playful and juicy start.

In the heart of the fragrance, delicate floral chords unfold: freesia adds airiness, jasmine sambac brings a sweet depth, and rose softens the composition with romantic hues.

The base notes of white musk and sandalwood create a warm and cozy base, ensuring longevity and a smooth transition from the bright beginning to the delicate finish.

This harmonious blend belongs to the floral and fruity fragrance families, reflecting lightness and naturalness.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. The scent is pleasant, of course, but I can't say it impressed me. Freesia, pear, and musk - sounds tempting, but in reality, the feeling is somewhat flat. It's nothing like Chance, and not in a good way. The longevity leaves much to be desired, and while the bottle is cute, it doesn't save the overall impression. It's nice to hold, but that's not enough for true delight 😔

How long I've dreamed of trying this fragrance, and finally, it happened! Honestly, I'm a little disappointed. The scent turned out to be quite faded, not long-lasting, and weak. Comparisons to Chance Tendre surprise me, as they are completely different. Tendre is sweet and alluring, while this one, alas, is sour and unpleasant. The original Eclat also didn't impress me

How wonderful it is to feel freshness in a fragrance! 🍐 Here are both pear and rose, both so bright and tart. The scent is simply magical, light and dewy, like a summer rain. Floral and fruity notes create an incredible mood! 🌸

What a terrible scent this is! Years go by, and it's still being talked about, but it doesn't impress me at all. I got acquainted with it about a year ago, and honestly, I don't understand what's so special about it. I've worn it in different seasons and at different temperatures, but it always smells equally disgusting!!

Light floral notes with a fruity hint on a musky base. This scent is so playful and bright, it always lifts my mood when I apply it. It's so sad that the miniature is almost gone, looks like I'll have to find something bigger 😔

Pear with freesia? Oh come on, that's just cliché! The scent is too sweet and cloying, as if someone decided to make a compote out of candies. No freshness at all, just a tedious repetition. I tried it myself, but wasn't impressed. I gave it to my mom, and she doesn't seem thrilled either. How can anyone love something like this? 😒

The scent is really interesting. It's like a light, sparkling cloud. Flowers are definitely present here, but it's not so easy to distinguish them. Overall, you feel a bright floral bouquet, to which a good portion of musk and the sweet freshness of pear have been added. I can't say for sure if I like it or not, but there's something about it that makes you think. )))

This scent is just boring and faceless for me. No zest, just background noise. In the office, maybe it's okay, but for the cinema? Why? It doesn't stand out, it's not memorable. I wear it when I really don't know what to choose, but it's not a joy, rather a necessity. I don't want anyone looking at me, and this smell is perfect for that 😒

This fragrance reminds me of Chance Eau Tendre, but without that harshness found in Chanel, and that, in my opinion, is a huge plus. It's really similar to the original, but I like it more because it smells much softer and more pleasant 🌸

The fragrance is truly rich and vibrant, instantly memorable. Strange and deep, unlike familiar things, with a distinct character. Spicy and balsamic notes create a dense, earthy atmosphere. Such a perfume is definitely suitable for special moments when you want something unusual 🌌

This fragrance is simply gorgeous, it's much more interesting than Chance Tendre! That one doesn't develop at all on me, it smells kind of weak and disappears instantly. But this beauty just lives, plays, and shimmers!!! Nothing is impossible when you find a perfume like this

A citrus-floral fragrance that smells quite bright, but with a light soapy and musky undertone. Longevity and sillage are moderate. This perfume reminds me of Chanel Chance Tendre, but I actually prefer it - it unfolds more interestingly on me )

The fragrance is indeed interesting, light and delicate, but there's something mysterious about it. There's a sense of purity, and powdery notes create an atmosphere of coziness. Rose and freesia play leading roles, and a touch of tartness adds a highlight. The longevity and sillage aren't too strong, but that doesn't stop it from being versatile. The bottle is simply charming, pleasant to hold. Overall, it's a lovely fragrance that leaves a light aftertaste )

My colleague has a fragrance that's perfect for summer, but its sillage, alas, is quite short. Overall, it's pretty pleasant, but I wish for something more memorable )

I can't say it's a masterpiece, but at least it doesn't smell like chemicals, which is already good. The pear-floral scent is, in principle, pleasant. Compared to other modern luxury perfumes, it stands out because there are no harsh alcoholic notes that are so irritating. But, honestly, it's more suitable for teenagers )
