L'Bel launched 1200°C Infinite in 2015 — and it was a brilliant move. A masculine fragrance rooted in the spicy and green families. The fragrance was crafted by perfumer Fabienne Coupaye. Created as part of the 1200°C collection.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of 1200°C Infinite evolves as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of L'Bel comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Musc without random overlap. Background accords such as Wood, Spicy and Oriental add depth to the backdrop. The profile is masculine, which clarifies the composition character.

In the first seconds you catch spicy sparkling top notes: Cardamom, Lemon, Rhubarb and Spruce Needles.

In the heart you meet Anise, Freesia, Green pepper, Jasmine and Labdanum carrying a cinnamon-nutmeg direction.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Spicy, Citrus, Green and Wood. It also reaches into Floral, Fruit, Whiteflower and Balsamic. From a family perspective the scent maps to Green and Spicy.

Taken together 1200°C Infinite holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.

The scent is really interesting, with a sourness and a cold metallic undertone, and you can feel fir oil in it. I really liked it, I think I would even wear it myself, at least a little in combination with Bourbon vanilla from Yves Rocher 🌲
