Description of the composition

The composition of Radikal Tuberose unfolds as a living composition, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of LM Parfums comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Perfume extract sets the depth and body this composition needs.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Fruit, Sweet and Whiteflower. It also reaches into Wood, Green and Floral. At family level the fragrance belongs to Floral.

In the top tier you catch grassy-green first notes: Galbanum and Yuzu.

When the opening settles you meet Jasmine and Tuberose holding a sensual jasmine direction. In the final layer the composition is fixed through Light woods, Peach and Sorbet, reinforcing a earthy woody-resinous trail.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Wood with each one in a clear role. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

In summary Radikal Tuberose sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best judged through real development.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The name and bottle design are perplexing - tuberose with pepper? Or maybe tuberose with oud and saffron? But the note pyramid is pleasing to the eye, and the base is simply amazing! Galbanum and angelica sound quite similar, but Jo Malone's tuberose with angelica is simply gorgeous! 😍

A peach base with sorbet could turn out quite interesting. I'm not sure if it'll be too cloyingly sweet, but I've already gotten used to appreciating more than just sweet scents 😏

I recently decided to try the tuberose from Atelier Cologne too. Honestly, it didn't put me off, and I might even like it! The opening of the fragrance is quite curious: yuzu, which I really like, combined with galbanum creates a bright and invigorating citrus sensation. And in the base, there are peaches and sorbets, all against a background of tuberose and jasmine. Overall, it's quite interesting and not that banal at all!!
