The scent of Au Hasard evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Louis Vuitton is evident from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Wood, Amber and Spicy forming a compact and readable structure. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

The scent, in reality, is much more complex than it seems at first glance. It starts with bergamot, fresh and cold, but quickly shifts towards something reminiscent of laundry detergent. In this smell, you can feel the steam from an iron pressing clothes just taken from the dryer. Musky graininess is also present, but the main thing is the crisp beige suede, with a bright accent of household soap. The scent is too calm and, one might say, American. You can wear it to the office every day without fear of causing discomfort to colleagues. But this simplicity and predictability leave a bitter aftertaste
