About Lubin Upper Ten for Her

Have you ever tried a fragrance that feels like a bold toast to life? Lubin Upper Ten for Her is exactly that.

Launched in 2016, this women's fragrance became a standout chapter in the legendary house's Classic Collection.

It belongs to the oriental and woody fragrance families, yet remains airy and elegant — its sillage is barely perceptible, making it perfect for intimate moments.

The History of Lubin

To understand Upper Ten for Her, you need to delve into the history of Lubin itself. Its story begins in 1789, when Pierre-François Lubin, an apprentice to Marie Antoinette's perfumer, founded his house.

Royal traditions blended with a rebellious spirit still live on in every composition.

Upper Ten for Her is no exception: it combines elegance with modern audacity, as befits a true niche fragrance.

Perfumers and Positioning

Two talented perfumers worked on creating this eau de parfum: Delphine Thierry and Gilles Thévenin.

Their vision gave the world a fragrance that does not shout for attention, yet leaves an unforgettable impression.

Upper Ten for Her is the ideal choice for those who appreciate sophistication and are not afraid to experiment.

It suits a romantic evening or a business meeting — anywhere you want to make an expensive, stylish impression.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The top notes — bergamot, elemi, grape, and wormwood (artemisia) — create a fresh, slightly bitter opening.

The heart unfolds with the sweetness of raspberry liqueur, an intoxicating rose, and spicy Sichuan pepper. The base features sensual amber, dark chocolate, smoky incense, and precious woods.

The fragrance shimmers from tart greenery to a sweet berry heart, settling into a warm, enveloping finish.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Imperceptible
2
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

the scent is really appealing, but it's not suitable for hot weather. on scorching days, it quickly disappears. but what I managed to catch was simply amazing. the raspberry feels fresh, natural, as if just picked. and next to it are cold coniferous resins and incense. such a combination is unusual and sounds very stylish
