Description of the composition

The scent of 1968 la sensualité evolves as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of Maison Chatrian comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

Without strict stage separation the notes arrive together with a soft-dry woody mood: Cedar, Mandarin, Musk, Oak moss, Orange, Patchouli and Rose. In this format 7 notes act as one integrated frame, forming lasting warm resonance that reads as cohesive from the start.

The heart and base are read as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Wood, Citrus, Musk and Earthy / Mossy. The palette also extends to Floral and Gourmet.
