Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Mancera Soleil d'Italie begins with a bright explosion of citrus: bergamot, bitter orange, lime, and mandarin create a juicy and refreshing top note, complemented by spicy accents of cardamom and pink pepper.

In the heart of the composition, the aquatic coolness of aquatic chord unfolds, harmoniously combining with the tenderness of rose and the earthy depth of patchouli.

The base of the fragrance immerses into warm and lasting woody chords: cedar, guaiac wood, and vetiver are enriched by amber and the purity of white musk, creating a cozy and memorable finale.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The fragrance, of course, starts with bright citruses, but then it changes strangely. It becomes too calm, as if trying to quiet down. In its development, there are more aquatic notes than citruses, and that's annoying. Summery, yes, but you wouldn't call it carefree. It's like someone decided to make it too simple and banal )

Well, this is much better, it's become more pleasant to perceive. Overall, not bad, but today I accidentally had two Manceras on blotters - Cedrat Boise and this one, as well as Neroli Amara by Van Cleef. If everything in Neroli is so subtle and exquisite, then these fragrances look as if they were chopped with an axe. Everything is too rough, it's a fragrance, not firewood! Why do it like that? :)

The fragrance is interesting, of course, but I have a complicated relationship with it. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. I gave it to my husband, and on him, it unfolds absolutely stunningly, I even got jealous. I decided to try wearing it myself. But I realized I can't do lime in Mancera perfumes. It always turns bitter and leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. It's all a bit sad )

This perfume reminds me of standing on a beach on a hot day, and someone next to you is pouring lemonade. Immediately, an image of a commercial where juice flies everywhere pops into my head. But this woody note at the base somehow doesn't fit the overall mood. It seems like a summer fragrance, but something about it is irritating. I don't know, maybe it's just not my style, but for a seaside vacation, I would choose something else

What a wonderful fragrance! It fills you with positivity and light. Citrus notes, a slight tartness, and woody accents create an incredible sensation. You immediately imagine yourself on sunny Italian beaches - simply magical!

Citrus notes with a slight sharpness and woody warmth. This fragrance truly evokes a longing for Italy and its atmosphere. I liked it, it's long-lasting and leaves a sillage, but there's something sad about it 🍂

The citruses here simply shine, and ginger adds an interesting sharpness. This fragrance is truly bright and fresh, filling you with energy. A summer companion that's perfect for a seaside vacation. Pure bliss!

The fragrance has a lot of woody notes and spices, and there's also an aquatic component. I hope it won't be too intrusive. In any case, it's worth trying!

The name is simply super, and the design is also pleasing to the eye. The pyramid looks interesting, I hope the fragrance truly conveys Italian style. Italian perfumery always inspires, I adore it! )

How amazing is this! A true poem is hidden in one name! Sun of Italy! The brand seems to be changing direction, moving away from oriental sweets and offering something fresh. Definitely worth trying - the fragrance is simply stunning, like the blessed sun of Italy

Going through my Mancera samples, I've concluded that some of them are going on a long journey, and I want to share my impressions. This fragrance turned out to be a real puzzle. It simultaneously attracts and repels, like Sicily - a place I adore, but which sometimes makes me uneasy. Here, citrus notes reign, mature and rounded, as well as a salty rose that looks beautiful. But in all this splendor, there's something that prevents me from wearing it. Firstly, the fragrance has a somewhat detached mood, and secondly, this bright nuance that seems to press down on me )

There's a lot of citrus in this fragrance, but it doesn't evoke joy, rather it creates an atmosphere of restraint and mystery. You want to inhale it and try to understand it. Rose with marine accents adds an interesting touch to the overall sound. Overall, the fragrance left a positive impression 🌊

The fragrance is generally very pleasant, with bright citrus notes based on wood and musk. Initially, it opens softly, but then becomes more intense and tart. Cardamom and strong wood are noticeable. Aquatic notes add freshness and juiciness, but it's not just light aquatics, it's truly bright and rich 🌟

This fragrance seems to evoke memories of sunny days, but in reality, it leaves a bitter aftertaste. The name, the bottle, and the composition itself - all of it only brings a slight smile, but nothing more. For me, this Mancera wasn't as heavy as expected, but it has too many citrus and woody notes that weigh on the soul 🍂
