Memo launched Moon Leather in 2016 — and it was a brilliant move. By character, a unisex fragrance drawing from the leather, citrus, and aromatic families. The nose behind this fragrance — Alienor Massenet. By character, it falls into the spicy, leather, and wood groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of floral, citrus, and aromatic can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. Description of the composition

The composition of Moon Leather unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of Memo is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports the depth and body this composition needs.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Wood and Leather add depth to the backdrop. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In trail behavior Middle describes the way the scent radiates.

As soon as the fragrance opens you meet radiant lemon-bergamot first notes: Bitter Orange, Grapefruit and Lemon.

In the middle phase you notice Clary Sage, Lemon Verbena and Neroli keeping a pure aromatic direction.

The lemon zest surprised me with tart citruses that blend with bitterness and spices, creating a resinous sound. The bottle, by the way, is one of the most stylish in the collection, I thought I would definitely like it. But the Fever version turned out to be more suitable for my skin. It has notes, although unusual, but still feminine, while this scent sounds much sharper and more masculine 🤔

Essentially, I detect notes of leather, bitter orange, and lemons, with added vetiver and tonka beans. Aromatic herbs are also present. Honestly, I didn't find anything outstanding for myself. It's not exactly disgusting, but you can't call it a masterpiece either. The fragrance pyramid looks more interesting than what actually develops on my skin. I'm sure this scent would unfold better on a man. The bottle and its design are indeed eye-catching. Overall, for this price - a solid three out of five, no more. But this is just my personal opinion. Longevity is good, and the sillage will be noticeable
