Fragrance information:

In 1955, Molinard introduced Nirmala — a fragrance that's hard to forget. By character, a feminine fragrance drawing from the east and fruit families. Created within the Nirmala collection and available in perfume extract.

The sillage is delicate — an intimate cloud that stays close to the skin. In terms of longevity, it sits at moderate — long enough to make a real impression. Behind this fragrance stands France and its rich perfumery heritage. Nirmala Molinard — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The composition of Nirmala evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Molinard comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract sets the right density and pace of development.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Musc, Wood and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. For persistence Middle suggests confident staying power.

In the top tier you sense invigorating sunny top notes: Grapefruit, Mandarin, Mango and Passion fruit.

In the central layer you meet Floral Notes and Jasmine holding a harmonious floral direction.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Citrus, Fruit, Floral and Whiteflower. The palette also extends to Wood, Spicy, Gourmet and Musk.

Taken together Nirmala reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

2
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Oh, how interesting it would be to experience the vintage version of Nirmala! But, alas, finding it now is practically impossible. The concentration of this fragrance is truly impressive. If any of you possess this rarity in your collection, it's a real treasure! ))

It's hard to explain, but despite my love for sharp masculine scents, this fragrance smells somewhat strange on me. Twice I tried to evaluate it at Rive Gauche, and both times I felt something amazing on myself - a tropical freshness, full of vibrant colors. It's something completely unfeminine, rather summery and joyful. I can't understand what's going on: maybe my receptors are off, or maybe my skin chemistry changes it somehow. But, nevertheless, it seems quite suitable and wearable to me. Perhaps it's worth taking a risk and trying it again

My husband brought this fragrance instead of what I ordered. I had tested it before, but I already knew it wasn't for me. What I ordered wasn't available, and my husband decided I'd be happy with any Molinard. Although I like oriental, woody, and musky scents, Nirmala is definitely not my choice. People around me also commented on how strongly sweet it smelled. I'm not used to dousing myself in perfume, but its sillage is truly long-lasting and powerful. Maybe the jasmine in it irritates me so much, or maybe it's just not my thing 😔
