Hundred Silent Ways: Identity and Release History

The fragrance Hundred Silent Ways by the brand Nishane, released in 2016, is a bold statement in the world of niche perfumery.

Founded in Istanbul in 2012, Nishane challenges traditions, and this extract is a vivid embodiment of its philosophy, where Eastern depth meets modern sophistication.

It belongs to the Rumi collection, inspired by the mystical poetry of Jalal ad-Din Rumi, which adds an extra layer of meaning and emotion, making it not just a perfume but a true work of art.

For those who want to delve deeper into the world of Nishane, additional information is available on the official website, where you can learn more about the brand's creative approach and its latest releases.

This fragrance quickly gained popularity among connoisseurs, becoming a symbol of elegance and courage, perfectly reflecting the spirit of the times.

Positioning and Wearability

Positioned as a women's fragrance, Hundred Silent Ways has a noticeable trail that leaves behind a trail of admiration and intrigue.

In the concentration of Perfume (Extract), it offers an intense and long-lasting sillage, ideally suited for special occasions — imagine it for an evening date, a luxurious party, or a romantic dinner, where every nuance must be flawless.

To allow the fragrance to unfold in all its beauty, it is recommended 1 to 2 sprays on the skin for a warm and personal scent, and enter the cloud when applied to clothing to create a lasting and voluminous effect.

This perfume is not only complimentary but also versatile — it works wonderfully on cool autumn and winter evenings, providing comfort and confidence, and in warmer seasons, it can become an exquisite accent for special moments.

If you are looking for similar fragrances that also celebrate sensuality and vibrancy, consider Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium, Lancôme La Vie Est Belle, and Gucci Gucci Bloom Hair Mist — each offers its unique perspective on femininity and can be an excellent alternative or addition to your collection.

Creators and Impact on the Brand

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. the tuberose scent here is really sweet, with a slight earthy undertone. I don't see the point in comparing Hundred Silent Ways to other perfumes, because each of them has its own individuality. They are all interesting and unique in their own way

I used this perfume once in the heat, but decided to put it aside for cooler days. I think it will reveal itself even better in autumn! At first, I thought I smelled strawberry notes, then I felt peach, and then other aromas unfolded. Tuberose and gardenia sound very soft here, and the vanilla is thick, yet pleasant. When the fragrance reaches the base, it's no longer as sweet and gourmand; sandalwood perfectly balances it. This is truly a feminine and languid scent, I couldn't tear myself away from my wrist - chic and expensive!

Gardenia and vanilla are clearly at the forefront here. The fragrance is indeed rich, feeling very vibrant. When testing it, my forehead even started itching - first time that's happened with perfume! It has excellent longevity and sillage, but I wouldn't dare wear it every day, too heavy a gourmand character

Too sweet and heavy. I would definitely classify it as a gourmand fragrance, it has such an intrusive vanilla. On a blotter, it seems like something cool, but on the skin - it's just too much, everything is excessive. Surprisingly, the longevity leaves much to be desired, even though it seemed like it would last for several days

The fragrance is simply amazing! The sweetness here isn't intrusive, but very pleasant. You can feel the magnificence and sophistication, everything is on the edge. It reminds me of Intrigue, but I like this one more. I really want to get it, and that makes me happy, because you can't trick your feelings. You won't be able to save money, but it's worth it, simply wonderful!!!

This fragrance is simply a miracle! It beautifully combines notes of tuberose, powder, vanilla, and white flowers. Tuberose, of course, gives it a special charm, and although it's not exactly like Devil's Intrigue, they definitely share a general direction. The sweetness here doesn't feel cloying; it's so expressive yet not overwhelming. This perfume can be worn at any time of year, and I gladly do so!! I'm actively testing it now, and the first acquaintance was very pleasant. There's every chance that our relationship with this fragrance will be long and joyful

Tuberose is not to my taste, but overall the fragrance seems quite balanced. It's delicate, with peach notes, reminiscent of a pleasant fruity chewing gum, but without excessive sweetness. It feels somewhat similar to Black Opium Floral Shock by Yves Saint Laurent

What a wonderful fragrance! It fills the atmosphere with flowers, vanilla, and oriental notes. Gardenia and tuberose create an incredible combination, and the light fruitiness of peach adds freshness. Creamy sandalwood is felt in the base, and powdery iris gives sophistication. This is truly one of the most remarkable fragrances from this brand

What a delightful perfume this is! First, you smell sweet peaches and candied tangerines, and then an incredible tuberose unfolds. This scent can captivate just like an enchanting dance. It hits the heart and the nose perfectly. I want it right now! 😍

Tuberose is once again preventing me from enjoying this fragrance, although it truly is worth attention. The scent of white flowers, cream, and vanilla is very rich and pleasant. It's warm and alluring, with a light woody undertone. But this strange tuberose note, which reminds me of a pharmacy, doesn't let me relax 😕
