The house of Nishane gifted the world with Shem in 2021. A unisex fragrance rooted in the leather, east, and floral families. This fragrance is the result of a creative collaboration between Lucas Sieuzac, Mert Güzel, and Murat Katran . One of the scents from the Prestige collection. The fragrance concentration is perfume extract.

Made in Turkey. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Shem unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Nishane comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Perfume extract sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Floral, Wood, Amber and Leather with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

In the first seconds you detect delicate floral opening notes: Cardamom, Geranium and Rose.

In the middle phase you meet Ambergris, Nagarmotha and Osmanthus holding a golden-amber direction.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Spicy, Floral, Ambery and Wood. It also reaches into Balsamic, Leather, Gourmet and Whiteflower. At family level the scent maps to East, Floral and Leather.

Overall Shem holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best understood through real development.
