The scent of Orris Noir is shaped as a layered story, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Ormonde Jayne is clear from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

Right at the start you meet cardamom-peppery first notes: Bergamot, Coriander, Pink pepper and Wormwood.

In the middle phase you meet Hot pepper, Iris, Jasmine and Laurel carrying a warm-spicy direction.

The iris here is truly beautiful, so delicate and melancholic, as if it dissolves into the violet air of the night. Almost transparent, barely moist - this feeling vanishes into thin air, like something that can no longer be brought back. If you like the style of this brand but haven't tried orris noir yet, definitely do it. It's a truly wonderful fragrance, although, honestly, I doubt it sells well. Its extraordinary lightness, though beautiful, might deter many ))))
