Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Viride is built as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Orto Parisi comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Perfume extract keeps the right density and pace of development.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a natural green mood: Grass and Vetiver. In this format 2 notes sound as one voice, creating pure greenery effect that feels seamless.

The inner phases are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Wood with each one in a clear role. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence High suggests confident staying power.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Green, Wood and Earthy / Mossy. At family level the composition sits in Green and Wood.

Taken together Viride reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

I can't quite say yet what I think about the fragrances in this line. Nasomatto somehow feels simpler to grasp. Here, I sense bitterness and some herbs, but overall the scent is quite strange. I don't know if I like it or not, there's something mysterious about it

The band "Piknik" has a track with the phrase about an ocean of herbs. This is exactly that ocean! It's fresh, juicy, with a slight bitterness and very natural. Amazingly long-lasting fragrance. This isn't Absinthe by Nasomatto, this is just an incredibly pleasant mono-fragrance of herbs

It's interesting that there's neither cedar nor pine here, yet I still get the feeling of being in a pine forest. The fragrance definitely leans masculine, but where one could actually wear it - I have no idea

The smell of fresh green grass, with a slight bitterness, makes me nostalgic. It seems the perfumer uses animalic notes in every fragrance, and that's starting to get annoying 🌿

Vetiver is just awful! These ancient trees and grasses create some unbearable bitterness. Everything is so green it's nauseating. I don't understand how anyone can wear this
