Immerse yourself in the world of bold and avant-garde fragrances with Orto Parisi Cuoium, released in 2021.
This perfume is part of the personal manifesto of the brand Orto Parisi, created by a visionary in the perfume world, where each composition tells a deep story.
As a perfume extract, Cuoium offers a rich and long-lasting formula, perfectly suited for those seeking something more than just a scent.
Being a unisex fragrance, Cuoium invites both men and women to experience its powerful character.
Its noticeable sillage leaves a bright impression, so dosing requires attention: on the skin, we recommend entering the cloud with moderate spraying, and on clothing — from 1 to 2 sprays to emphasize elegance without overdoing it.
The fragrance is ideal for cool evenings or special occasions, where its leather depth unfolds in all its glory.
Behind Cuoium is the genius of Alessandro Gualtieri, a perfumer known for his alchemical approach to creating fragrances.
His work with Orto Parisi reflects a drive for experimentation and emotional richness, making each release a unique statement in the world of perfumery.
Cuoium, as part of this philosophy, enhances the brand's reputation as a pioneer in niche and bold compositions.
If Cuoium has caught your interest, pay attention to similar fragrances: Byredo Baudelaire with its poetic leather, Zara Vibrant Leather For Her for a more affordable option, and Mugler Alien Les Parfums de Cuir, combining leather notes with floral accents.

The fragrance is highly persistent and lasts on the skin for up to 8–10 hours, gradually revealing its notes and allowing you to enjoy the full bouquet throughout the day
The scent is clearly present near you, but it does not fill the entire space
The perfume has a rich aroma that will help you stand out from the crowd and create a memorable image
The most concentrated form of perfume with a deep, multifaceted composition, exceptional durability, and an expressive trail
Perfumes for the fall and winter seasons often contain notes of vanilla, spices, ambergris, wood, and other warm accords, creating a feeling of comfort and warmth during the cold months
The pyramid of Orto Parisi Cuoium is built around a powerful leather accord that dominates all stages of the fragrance's development.
This accord, belonging to leather notes and leather families, creates an atmosphere of luxury and brutality, reminiscent of antique leather furniture or a new leather belt.
At the start, the fragrance may seem intense and slightly smoky, but as it develops on the skin, it softens, revealing warm and almost animalic shades, which is characteristic of high-quality leather compositions.
The absence of distinct top, middle, and base notes emphasizes a minimalist approach, where the leather accord performs solo, inviting one to enjoy its purity and depth.
This structure makes Cuoium an ideal choice for connoisseurs of monochromatic and strong fragrances who appreciate the art of perfumery alchemy.

To be fair, I must say that I liked Orto Parisi's new fragrance. It is accessible to perception, which is also important. But Complex is difficult for me to wear because of its animalistic essence. And it's not just about animality, although there's plenty of it in isobutylquinoline. It's truly complex for me. I can't stand it for more than two hours; I want to get rid of it. And the feeling afterward, however crude it may sound, is as if someone hit you hard. This is not the most pleasant feeling, even when talking about smells.
As for Nudiflorum, it's too loud, even when applied in minimal amounts. This doesn't diminish its beauty and elegance, but for me, it's a challenging fragrance, and our relationship can hardly be called warm. But Cuoium, successfully combining these two elements, adds an alcoholic sweetness and a slightly smoked fruity smokiness from Laudano Nero, creating a holistic and complete olfactory canvas. For this mastery, Signore Alessandro deserves special respect. This is truly a beautiful fragrance that will be a revelation for many. Someone has already called it the "closure of the leather theme" in perfumery, perhaps by analogy with Megamare "closing the aquatic theme." I don't agree with that. My search for the ideal leather fragrance
