Helioflora: Encounter with the Sunflower

In 2019, French niche perfumery was enriched by the delicate unisex fragrance Helioflora from Pierre Guillaume Paris, which became part of the elegant White Collection.

This perfume, created as a perfume water, embodies light and freshness, inviting into a world of olfactory discoveries.

The brand Pierre Guillaume Paris, founded by self-taught perfumer Pierre Guillaume in 2002, is renowned for its skillful approach to compositions, where each note tells a story.

Helioflora continues this tradition, offering a unique blend of floral and aromatic chords, making it a desirable addition for connoisseurs of exquisite scents.

Who Helioflora Is Created For

As a unisex fragrance, Helioflora is suitable for both men and women who appreciate subtlety and naturalness.

Its barely perceptible trail is ideal for everyday wear, creating a light, unobtrusive image.

This perfume feels great in warm seasons, adding freshness to spring and summer days, and is also suitable for the office or informal meetings.

The concentration of perfume water ensures moderate longevity, allowing enjoyment of the scent throughout the day without overload.

To achieve optimal effect, it is recommended to apply it to pulse points on the skin, where body heat helps all notes unfold.

The Creative Genius of Pierre Guillaume

Behind Helioflora is Pierre Guillaume, a visionary of niche perfumery, whose works often reflect a deep connection with nature and art.

His ability to balance tradition and innovation gives the fragrance a special depth, strengthening the brand's reputation as a laboratory of olfactory discoveries.

Helioflora is not just a fragrance, but part of the heritage of Pierre Guillaume Paris, demonstrating how an independent house can create works that speak to the soul through scents.

This release emphasizes the brand's commitment to quality and uniqueness, which is valued by a discerning audience.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Buddleia is not felt in this fragrance, everything sounds too familiar. For me, it's the smell of apricots - bright, sweet, and warm. I didn't notice rhubarb with its sourness. This is more a fragrance associated with summer, smoothly transitioning into autumn 🍂

On my skin, sweetness clearly dominates, and the tartness of rhubarb and apricot somehow gets lost. I expected something completely different based on the pyramid. And yes, something coniferous is felt. Maybe it's the basil affecting it? A soapy quality is also present, I agree with Elena. I'll continue getting acquainted with this fragrance. Maybe something will change 🌧️

For me, this scent is definitely not for spring. The apricots here are unripe, even disgusting. It envelops you, but doesn't let you breathe, like you're trapped. This green-herbal note smells so irritating 😤

A light and sweet-sour apricot note, which, by the way, lasts quite well on the skin. I can't say exactly how a buddleia flower should smell, but I perceive it as a regular floral scent. Overall, besides the sour apricots, I only smell juicy rhubarb and cold clove basil. In the end, it creates a cozy feeling, as if you're in a warm cocoon. Such a fragrance, in my opinion, would suit any time of year 🌸

Rhubarb, apricot, and basil in this fragrance create the sensation of wild strawberries. The delicate, juicy pulp is delightful, and the sweet-sour taste with spicy pine notes is simply captivating. The scent is sweet, but with bright spicy greenery, fresh, and with a slight muskiness from the musks. It's long-lasting, subtle, and leaves an unforgettable sillage
