Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Feullie de Figuier is built as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The style of Roger & Gallet is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Fragrant mist keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

In the top tier you sense radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Bergamot, Galbanum and Mandarin. These 3 notes form a burst of citrus freshness that anchors the first impression immediately.

In the middle phase you notice Fig Leaf and Neroli carrying a aromatic green direction.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Wood with each one in a clear role. The gender direction is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Citrus, Green, Floral and Balsamic. The framework further includes Wood. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Citrus.

Overall Feullie de Figuier holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

I dedicate this review to everyone who appreciates fig and Mugler's Womanity perfume. The fig scent here is salty, green, and has a tart nuance. But honestly, it's totally not for me. It's too dry, and that makes the feeling oppressive. If you ignore my preferences, maybe it's not bad, but for me, it's just unbearable
