Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Flying Dutch evolves as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Royal Crown is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

At the opening of the pyramid you sense cardamom-peppery first notes: Caraway, Geranium and Seaweed. Exactly these 3 notes build voluminous spicy depth that is impossible to miss.

At the core of development you meet Marine accord, Rum, Tobacco and Tuberose carrying a transparent marine direction.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Balsamic, Gourmet, Floral and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Spicy, Marine and Alcoholic expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Spicy, Floral, Green and Aquatic. The palette also extends to Drinks, Wood, Whiteflower and Balsamic.

Overall Flying Dutch holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best understood on skin.
