Identity and Release History

In 2018, the world of perfumery saw a new masterpiece from the legendary Italian house Salvatore Ferragamo – the fragrance Rinascimento, which translates to "Renaissance".

Released as part of the Tuscan Creations collection, this perfume embodies the spirit of the Tuscan Renaissance, blending tradition and innovation.

2018 was the moment when Ferragamo introduced this versatile eau de parfum, designed for all who appreciate refinement.

The story of the Salvatore Ferragamo brand, which began with shoes that conquered Hollywood, naturally flowed into the world of fragrances, where each bottle is a symbol of impeccable taste and Italian elegance.

Rinascimento continues this legend, offering a modern interpretation of classic luxury.

Positioning and Wearability

As a unisex fragrance, Rinascimento breaks gender stereotypes, attracting both men and women with its balanced composition.

It is ideal for warm seasons – spring and summer – when its fresh and floral notes unfold fully, offering a sense of lightness and renewal.

As an eau de parfum, it provides balanced longevity, suitable for daily wear or special events.

For those seeking alternatives, similar fragrances include Nishane Hundred Silent Ways with its sweet accents, Zara Lirio de Agua for lovers of aquatic notes, and Avon Segno Success, offering a more accessible option with a similar aesthetic.

Creators and Influence

The creator of this fragrance is the talented Alex Lee, who managed to convey the essence of the Italian Renaissance through the notes.

His work highlights how Ferragamo uses perfumery to expand its heritage, making each fragrance part of a larger narrative about style and quality.

Belonging to the aromatic, oriental, and floral families makes Rinascimento multifaceted, able to adapt to different moods and occasions, reinforcing the brand's position as an innovator in the perfume industry.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Rinascimento begins with bright top notes: basil, green pepper, and mandarin, creating a fresh and spicy start.

In the heart, delicate floral notes unfold: iris, lily, and tuberose, adding depth and femininity.

The base consists of warm and long-lasting elements: orcanox (Orcanox), sandalwood, and vetiver, providing durability and a cozy finish.

This composition belongs to the groups ambery, white floral, and woody, creating a complex and harmonious bouquet that gradually unfolds on the skin.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

Green lily combined with creamy tuberose creates an interesting effect, and light spicy notes and citrus freshness add brightness. The sandalwood base is simply gorgeous. I really liked the fragrance, it's elegant, but unfortunately, it disappears too quickly 😕

The flower on the coat of arms of Florence, they say it's a lily, but I think it's an iris after all. Rinascimento is a tribute to the old city, so to speak. The lily motif here is played out quite strangely: a mineral accord and tuberose with orange blossom. Tuberose, of course, is often alongside lily, but this cold, silent coolness of stones - that's something else entirely. The fragrance turns out interesting, but it lacks everything that could evoke emotions, density, and life

The fragrance is very interesting, spicy and with powdery notes, and the greenery adds freshness. I can't say it's exclusively feminine, there's something daring and even a bit rough about it. But you can't call it purely masculine either. All in all, it's definitely unisex! 🌟

This fragrance is clearly masculine. It has basil and vetiver, which give it brightness and spiciness. I don't smell any floral notes or citrus at all

For me, this fragrance is, first and foremost, as fresh as its packaging. I clearly smell basil, a bit of unripe citrus, and a light hint of lily with vetiver. It's simply wonderful! 🌿

The fragrance starts with a powerful and bright sound. You immediately feel the tart bergamot peel, and greenery adds freshness. Although it slightly resembles cologne, the density of its scent is impressive. There's something masculine about it, but at the same time mysterious. This perfume definitely won't leave you indifferent ))))
