Discovering Sergio Tacchini Feel Good For Men

Picture this: a sunny day on the tennis court, a light breeze, and a feeling of absolute freedom.

This is precisely the atmosphere evoked by Sergio Tacchini Feel Good For Men, an eau de toilette released in 2006.

This men's fragrance belongs to the fougère and woody families—an ideal choice for those who appreciate freshness and character.

The creators drew inspiration from the spirit of a winner: the Sergio Tacchini brand is more than just perfumery; it is a living story of style born on the courts.

Founded in 1966 by an Italian tennis player, it brings energy and elegance to the fragrance. Feel Good For Men is exactly that—dynamic yet refined.

The fragrance has a moderate sillage, leaving a pleasant, unobtrusive trail that never overwhelms yet remains memorable. It is perfect for everyday wear, whether at the office or on a walk.

The notes unfold gradually, offering new sensations with every passing hour.

Description of the composition

The olfactory pyramid of Sergio Tacchini Feel Good For Men is a true symphony of contrasts. The top notes offer a refreshing cocktail: juicy watermelon, spicy basil, and refined lavender.

At the heart of the fragrance, floral notes bloom, intertwining with a cool aquatic accord to evoke the feeling of a sea breeze.

The base is composed of sensual musk, tart Virginia cedar, and earthy oakmoss.

This combination makes the composition fresh, watery, and deep all at once—an ideal balance for an energetic man.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. The fragrance is indeed fresh and transparent, but the watermelon note seems a bit artificial, as if it's not quite ripe. Basil adds interesting nuances, but overall it's quite tart and spicy. There's no greenness here, which I like, because such fragrances are often too boring. All in all, I like it )

The scent resembles Blue Seduction by Banderas, but it has less sweetness, and instead of melon, you can smell watermelon. Overall, it's just as fresh and watery, very pleasant and gentle on the nose

To be honest, I bought this perfume only because of the low price. Mostly, it was the price that attracted me. The scent, though fresh, is not like all the others. At first, it seems rough and even sharp, but then it unexpectedly transitions into a spicy, herbaceous freshness with a slight tartness. I immediately had a strong association with the smell of clean linen, though I can't say exactly why. Strangely enough, I don't smell any watermelon or water in it. Be careful, it's easy to overdo it, and then the scent will start to overwhelm you and those around you. It's best suited for autumn and winter
