Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Relaxing is built as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Shiseido comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Wood, Green, Fruit and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Floral, Ambery, Gourmet and Earthy / Mossy.

At the opening of the pyramid you catch fresh green top notes: Bamboo, Black currant leaf, Cucumber and Raspberry.

In the middle phase you meet Gardenia and Peony keeping a creamy tuberose direction.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Aquatic, Floral, Fruit and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Amber and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In wear duration Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

How strange this is. I can't decide if I like this fragrance or not. It evokes some mixed feelings, and honestly, it's a shame it can't be found anymore 😕

The scent is really interesting. It evokes associations with a fresh, freshly sliced cucumber. Or, perhaps, with a delicate bamboo stalk that has just been cut. In any case, it's something green and rich. Rather, it feels soft and neutral than relaxing
