Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Tokyo Sky Tree is built as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Shiseido is evident in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports the depth and body this composition needs.

Right at the start you catch cardamom-peppery top notes: Ginger, Green Tea and Kumquat. Exactly these 3 notes build voluminous spicy depth that is impossible to miss.

In the middle phase you sense Frankincense, Iris, Mirabelle Plum, Pink pepper, Rose and Yew Berry carrying a opulent floral direction.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Fruit with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Wood, Powdery and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Spicy, Drinks, Citrus and Balsamic. The palette also extends to Floral, Fruit, Wood and Gourmet.

the fragrance is surprisingly fresh and bright, as if citrus notes with a slight hint of ginger unexpectedly emerged in a cup of green tea. the sweetness of plum adds an interesting touch, creating a sense of sophistication. although it resembles the style of the 2000s, its relevance is unquestionable even today
