Zen Shiseido — a 1964 fragrance that needs no introduction. A feminine fragrance from the chypre and floral families. Perfumer Josephine Catapano poured every ounce of mastery into this one. The fragrance belongs to the green, ambery, and musk groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of floral, earthy / mossy, and whiteflower can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. Part of the Zen collection, available as eau de cologne.
The sillage is moderate — present, but never overpowering. In terms of longevity, it sits at moderate — long enough to make a real impression. Made in Japan. Zen Shiseido unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.

The composition is very elegant and delicate, with light floral notes pleasantly framed by a barely perceptible bitterness, adding an interesting accent. This truly makes the fragrance more multifaceted. It unfolds especially well in spring, but unfortunately, in cold weather, it gets lost and becomes almost imperceptible. In warmth, unfortunately, it doesn't come alive, but rather seems to fade into the shadows )
