Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Folie de Marguerite evolves as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Simimi is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract sets the right density and pace of development.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Musc, Wood, Powdery and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet fresh floral opening notes: Iris, Lemon, Magnolia and Patchouli.

In the central layer you meet Elemi, Jasmine, Oud, Pink pepper and Tuberose carrying a creamy tuberose direction.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Floral, Citrus, Wood and Spicy. The palette also extends to Balsamic, Whiteflower, Fruit and Sweet.

Taken together Folie de Marguerite holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

For me, this scent smells like a mix of powder and spices, with a light dusting of powder. Airy flowers and sweetish carrot seeds create a very pleasant impression. As it develops, woody notes and musk appear, which adds interest 🌸
