The olfactory structure of Adjatay, cuir narcotique is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of The Different Company comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

In the first seconds you catch sparkling citrus top notes: Mandarin and ylang-ylang. These 2 notes build a burst of citrus freshness that is impossible to miss.

When the opening settles you meet Heliotrope, Jasmine and Tuberose keeping a creamy tuberose direction.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Musc, Wood and Leather expand the olfactory volume in the background.

Leather and tuberose here create a real power that is also sweetish. This fragrance is not light, but rather imposing and strong, with a character that is hard to ignore. In the end, it leaves a trail of animalic musk, feeling like a prickly sweater, and the leather is salty and smoky, and all of this will stay with you until the very end. The tuberose here is completely unusual, and the leather is unusual. Don't rush to buy without trying it on yourself, it might deceive you

At first, this perfume made a good impression on me. I'm glad I chose a decant, because now I clearly smell a note that reminds me of gasoline. I can't figure out what that note is. The fragrance is really long-lasting, but you need to find a common language with it, and unfortunately, I couldn't 😕
