This multifaceted pyramid combines notes from the citrus, floral, fruit, gourmand, green, white floral, and woody groups, creating a unique chypre bouquet that smoothly evolves on the skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

I can't say it's anything special. First, you smell leaves and blackcurrant, then a powdery violet note appears, and a bit of woodiness. But all of it sounds somewhat weak, simple, and unexpressive. If you don't delve into the composition, it's just sweetish berry and floral notes that don't evoke any emotions. If I had tested it blindly, I would have thought it was something from the mass market, like Oriflame or Faberlic

The fragrance truly impresses with its elegance and harmony. It's fresh and has a good sillage, perfectly suited for an office environment, especially with a grey suit. You can feel a hint of violet and heather in it, which adds a special charm 🌸

This fragrance is my true favorite, which I guard like the apple of my eye. I only wear it on special occasions when the mood is right. It's incredibly elegant and smells like it costs a fortune. Even my mom noticed that its final notes on my scarf have something of the famous Ellipse perfume. It evokes a certain sadness in me, as if it reminds me of something important that can no longer be brought back ))

It's hard to call this fragrance iris; rather, it resembles a blooming garden with notes of blackcurrant, lilac, and wisteria. In reviews comparing Sublime Balkiss with the discontinued Freya, there's something interesting: the nose really picks up iris notes as soon as you realize who created this perfume. Céline Ellena has done many cool things for the brand: fragrances like Sens et Bois, Jasmin de Nuit, and Sel de Vetiver are astonishing and unique. In Sublime Balkiss, one feels that she was inspired by her father, Jean-Claude Ellena's style. Iris here serves as a backdrop for a bright accord of blackcurrant juice and neroli, which blends so harmoniously with the other notes that one involuntarily reflects on how important it is to properly prepare the base for any composition 🌸

The scent is not bad, of course, but there's one "but". I don't feel it on myself at all. I won't say it doesn't suit me, everyone around me smells it, but I'd like to enjoy its scent too))) When I tested it before buying, I sprayed it on my hand, or rather on my watch strap, and then it was bright and lasted a long time. Now I don't know what to do. I'll probably carry it with me and reapply it from time to time. But still, it's very frustrating

A true masterpiece! This is simply the embodiment of sophistication. The fragrance is versatile, and although I can't say how it would unfold on a man, on a woman's skin it sounds exquisite and delicate. Floral and gourmand notes intertwine to create an amazing harmony. The bergamot here is simply magnificent 🌸

A May night is once again enveloped in the flowers of lilac, jasmine, and lily of the valley. The scent is fresh, green, and floral. The cocoa here seems to be in the background; for me, it's more woody than sweet 🌸

The fragrance is truly strange and very light. Only one barely perceptible note of bitterness, seemingly from bergamot with patchouli, might hint at its chypre nature. But overall, it dissolves into floral softness, as if delicate flower petals and currant twigs embrace each other. Maybe it doesn't sound entirely logical, but that's how I perceive it. Currant twigs and leaves, not berries… 😔

This scent immediately captivated me, standing out from the rest. Maybe it's because it's a chypre? It reminds me of Nomade by Chloe, which once also captivated me with its softness of fruity-floral top notes contrasting with a sharp mossy base. It's truly complex, you want to delve into it, try to understand it. The notes seem to lead you up a staircase, step by step. But it's hard to distinguish individual elements: I feel some citruses, white flowers, and then I can't figure it out. This scent is a real mystery, and it's simply magnificent! )

Cold green goo, with lily of the valley and lilac on some spicy base. Sounds not bad, but only in spring and summer, otherwise that nasty synthetic starts to creep out

What an amazing niche fragrance this is! It really changes depending on the weather, humidity, and temperature. Personally, I think it's especially good in spring! You can feel that it was created by a real woman - so bright, sensitive, and at the same time calm. The sillage of the fragrance is noticeable, but not intrusive, rather captivating, as if calling you to follow it!!! On the skin, it lasts no more than a day, but on a woolen scarf, I felt it for up to two days. Simply magical!

I expected the scent to be luxurious and perfectly suit me, but alas, my hopes didn't come true 😕 It turned out to be completely unbearable for me, it has some persistent bay leaf note, and I just can't stand the smell of bay leaf. All in all, it's a complete failure… Bay-lilac-blackcurrant leaf is just not for me (((
