Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Cavour 1 evolves as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Xerjoff comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Fruit, Sweet, Wood and Spicy. The palette also extends to Floral, Ambery, Musk and Gourmet. At family level the scent maps to East and Gourmet.

Right at the start you sense sweet-fresh fruity first notes: Quince and White Peach.

In the heart you detect Dark Chocolate, Patchouli, Pink pepper and Rose holding a gourmand delectable direction.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Gourmet, Floral, Fruit and Musc without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Wood, Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

The fragrance is too cloying. For those who adore sweet and intense perfumes, it might seem suitable, but I couldn't stand even one spray on my wrist. From a distance, I could smell a mix of peaches, quince, and an abundance of vanilla, and the musk was just screaming. I couldn't detect oud because I rushed to wash off this scent, although it wasn't easy to do
