Description of the composition

The scent of Macaque unfolds as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of Zoologist Perfumes is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

Right at the start you sense dry woody opening notes: Cedar, Green Apple and Mandarin.

In the central layer you meet Frankincense, Galbanum, Honey, Jasmine, Rosewood and ylang-ylang holding a silky white floral direction.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Fruit, Musc and Wood enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is unisex, which clarifies the composition character. In wear duration Middle suggests confident staying power.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Balsamic, Drinks, Fruit and Green. It also reaches into Whiteflower, Wood, Citrus and Sweet.

Fruity-woody but dusty and stuffy. There's something animalic, maybe oud. The forefront is strange and a bit dirty. Of all the perfumes from this brand, this one left me completely puzzled
