L'Artisan Parfumeur Mémoire de Roses
My collection already has more than ten fragrances with solo roses. This is exactly what I needed. Together with Rose Shot and, perhaps, Une Rose, they make up my favorite trio. I want to not only wear them but also just enjoy their scent. The fragrance is tart, transparent, with a broad, free composition. There's enough air in it for the tartness and the flower to play with each other. Unfortunately, many popular fragrances are full of contrasts and often overloaded with patchouli (though they're hardly stored like vegetables in piles, but they create a similar mood), resins, and mosses. It's all very heavy and dramatic. Memoire de Roses is the complete opposite, it's light, playful, and carefree, one might say 'youthful' Just super! 🌹
