I never thought I'd say this, but this fragrance is simply magnificent! Though, to be honest, it's too much of everything for me: too sweet, too loud, too bright and noticeable. It's like it wrenches me out of my usual world of scents, like a jack. I remember first smelling it in winter — it seemed completely out of place in the cold, with its brightness and sounds that seemed to jingle like lucky coins sparkling at the bottom of a fountain. It should be cold in winter, that's obvious! There should never be sun in St. Petersburg in winter, never! But in summer, I easily tolerate the heat, even enjoy it. Summer this year, it seems, was canceled, but that's when I met Shiny Amber. In summer, it has none of those jingles and coins, only bitter citrus at the beginning and resins later. It's like a scene from a cartoon, where I'm sitting on a park bench, melting like ice cream, to the sound of cicadas. And somewhere in the distance, sun-baked pines, with the smell of resin and last year's needles - that's it, real summer! Shiny Amber still remains too complex for me to wear, but now I see its logic and beauty. It truly stands out from all the other ambers I've encountered. Yes, eventually it settles into labdanum, but before that - true wonders: light as citrus, robust as the thickest summer honey, viscous as melted resin, glowing like the first fireflies of summer. I don't know if it's worth wearing, but smelling it at least once is a must for anyone interested in perfumery not just for practicality, but for aesthetics. The fragrance turned out to be too intense for me, with a bit too much drama. It's powdery and very deep, but in my opinion, it's more suitable for a mature audience. You should only use it for special occasions, not every day )

Squeezed a drop in my car and now I'm just enjoying the ride. My car has transformed, looking like something from the luxury class. But, honestly, if you use it as an air freshener, Oud Immortel is way too expensive!!!
