To the fragrance:
Hermès Un Jardin Sur Le Nil
Sometimes we all order perfumes, giving in to general excitement or just sheer madness. And here's what I can say: the scent turned out to be completely different from what I expected. I can't say it's bad, I just had different expectations. You see, there's a certain bitterness and detachment in it, a slight feeling of despair. The smell reminds me of a lowland where fresh grass doesn't grow, only bitter sedge and reeds. Lemon notes fall not on white flowers, but on withered faces, and spices scattered on the forest's edge create an atmosphere of despair… But therein lies its appeal - it's dramatic and beautiful, like an old black-and-white movie. I think it would sound simply magnificent on a man 🌟
To the fragrance:
Avon Today Tomorrow Always Heart
The scent, honestly, is not impressive. Longevity, yes, it's there, but that doesn't save it from the overall heaviness. Floral notes with fruits sound somewhat unnatural, and the woody-musky base is overwhelming. The powdery film only adds to the suffocating feeling. I don't recommend it 😒
