To the fragrance: Chanel № 19 Poudré

I recently decided to revisit my experience with this fragrance. I bought it in 2011 because I was in love with powder and was looking for something that would remind me of childhood memories associated with my mom's cosmetic bag. But, unfortunately, I couldn't get along with this scent. On me, it smelled somehow strange: sometimes it reminded me of 80s retro fragrances, sometimes it caused an inexplicable bitterness, and my beloved powder was almost imperceptible in it. This, of course, was upsetting, as I paid about 4000 rubles. The bottle just gathered dust in a far corner, and I didn't even want to approach it. Now it's autumn, rain outside, and I became curious to try it again. One spray on my wrist, and again that dusty bitterness, just like before. Nothing new, but after 15 minutes I started to feel a bit of vaseline-like powder, floral notes, perhaps neroli, and a fresh grassy bitterness. The fragrance changed over three hours: sometimes bitterness, sometimes flowers, sometimes powder with vaseline. I expected worse, as I never got along with Chanel, all their fragrances seemed too mature. But this one turned out to be interesting, with light retro echoes that aren't too intrusive. Now I'm changing my opinion for the better. This fragrance is definitely worth considering

To the fragrance: Carolina Herrera 212 VIP

How sad it is to remember what once was. This scent, like a warm blanket, envelops you, but the rum is so clearly audible, though it doesn't overwhelm with its alcoholic note. Sweetness and richness, as if exotic fruits dance in unison with vanilla and musk, which, by the way, is simply out of this world here! This is definitely a winter option, created for those who know their worth. You absolutely must pay attention to it!!!

I bought this perfume to add to my collection after 212 Vip, but damn, it's a complete disappointment. On my skin, it's barely noticeable, like just chemicals, reminds me of some pink makeup remover liquid. I only smell this soapy rose, and unfortunately, nothing else. Didn't work for me at all

To the fragrance: Prada Candy

After applying to the skin, a real caramel toffee appears, so gooey and sweet. After about 20 minutes, the fragrance becomes calmer, but the caramel is still noticeable, and cream adds a vanilla note. It's a very delicate and feminine scent, yet not too cloying. The base is simply magnificent. In my opinion, this is the ultimate winter fragrance. It's not suffocating and doesn't cause irritation, with it you'll always be the center of attention

I want to share my experience with this perfume. I spent a long time looking through your reviews to choose a New Year's gift for my husband. At L'Etoile, I tested it on a blotter and my wrist. Immediately after application, the scent seemed sharp and alcoholic. But after 15 minutes, the smell of ink began to appear on my skin and the blotter. It didn't develop on the blotter, but it did on my hand.

An hour and a half later, when I had already forgotten about the test, my husband and I were driving in the car. I was sitting in the back seat with bags, and suddenly I smelled a very pleasant and unusual aroma. It seemed to wash over me in waves, appearing and disappearing. The scent is light and airy, and I agree that "ringing" is an accurate description for Encre Noire. There's something oxygenated about it. I couldn't take my hand away from my nose, that's how much it impressed me.

I don't like to break down fragrances by notes, but I'll try. First, you feel the inky notes, so tart, then the smell of a forest after rain, foliage, sweetish tree bark, and even a bonfire on damp wood. All of this washes over you like a tide. I don't understand how something like this could be bottled! When I read reviews, I couldn't believe that someone smelled a forest and an extinguished bonfire, but for me, the perfume smells exactly like that! Thanks everyone for the reviews, I ordered a whole bottle for my husband. I'm eagerly waiting! For me, this is definitely a masculine fragrance

I agree with many, this fragrance truly reminds one of self-care. It's very soft and warm, with a delicate rose scent, like a freshly bloomed bud. The musk is also nice, but it seems to hide. The scent stays close to the skin, leaves no sillage, creating an intimate atmosphere. It's more like a fragrance that blends with the skin, like a cream or cosmetics. Overall, an interesting choice, but it leaves a somewhat bitter aftertaste 😔

To the fragrance: Hermès Terre d'Hermes

This fragrance is just a bomb! Yes, it's masculine, but I don't care about that. Last year, I bought cosmetics at Ile de Beauté and got four samples with it. I didn't even remember three of them, but this one - it immediately hooked me. First, you smell bitter tangerine peels and winter pine needles, and then, it seems, patchouli starts to play. The smell of freshly cut wood and sawdust - it's just unbearable! And at the end, there's flint, like from a lighter. Warm, but at the same time such an intrusive scent. I absolutely loved using this sample. Yes, I know it's for men, but it's something else! Now I've decided to buy it for my husband so I can keep enjoying it myself) ))
