The fragrance is truly interesting and, as is typical for Tom Ford, stands out with its style. I stumbled upon a limited edition at Moscow's TSUM for a very reasonable price and couldn't resist adding it to my collection. Before this, I only knew Urban Musk and White Suede from Private Blend, so Musk Pure was a real surprise for me. The combination of wax, ylang-ylang, benzoin, and lily of the valley creates a dense cloud of white musk with a slight bitterness from tonka beans. It's simply gorgeous! Gradually, the fragrance unfolds, and I start to catch piquant notes of pepper and white flowers. Aldehydes, which aren't listed in the pyramid, are also clearly present, creating a sense of "cleanliness." After a couple of hours, it starts to resemble Le Labo Aldehyde 44 Dallas - not entirely identical, but overlaps in the scents are noticeable. In terms of mood, Musk Pure is very calming and contrasting. It provides both freshness and warmth simultaneously, as if a gentle breeze is blowing on sun-warmed skin. It has innocence and sensuality, which creates an interesting dialogue between the components. I'm thrilled with this fragrance and glad it's now in my collection!

This is a rather curious neo-fougère with cannabis notes. Byredo, it seems, decided to take this step after their fragrance "Marijuana" had already attracted attention. The name, by the way, evokes associations with Rastafarians and their call for expanding consciousness))) The fragrance is clearly about green, oily hemp, it's at the forefront here. All this chaos is slightly softened by woody vetiver notes and a light pomelo accent, which, though barely audible, adds interest. In the nuances, you can catch some spices, seasonings that intertwine with vetiver, but it's hard to pinpoint exactly what they are (I never figured it out, but something spicy is definitely there) This release isn't quite suitable for summer. Honestly, I don't understand how one can wear this in the heat?! This is a scent for true herb lovers)))) It's more suited for spring and cool autumn. In rainy weather, especially with high humidity, it might seem too monotonous. It's worth trying, the fragrance is indeed interesting, but, again, it's for an acquired taste 🌿

The fragrance is truly unusual and conceptual, but I can't quite figure out if I like it or not. At first, there's a powerful start with tomato leaves, and galbanum greenness adds sharpness. It's like you're transported to sunny Italy, but then the sweetness of vanilla appears, and that's a completely different story. The warmth of the Mediterranean sun, and leather, well-groomed and expensive, like the main character, surrounded by thick resins. There are many contrasts, halftones and overtones, as if a 90s disco ball is sparkling. Exploring this palette of colors is interesting, but sometimes challenging. The fragrance is strange, multifaceted, and it truly combines geography and the concept of leather. You can explore it in different moods and weather, and each time new facets open up. Like a good book you reread and find new meanings. But a fragrance with meaning - that's rare even among niche ones. It's like an example of a true conceptual niche, but the question still remains: do I like it or not

Not bad, a rather large bouquet of white flowers that seems to radiate its beauty, embodying elegance and grace. Narcotic Venus is something special, a combination of white flowers and femininity, and it's surprising that there's no indolic quality here. This is truly impressive and speaks to a high level of craftsmanship in creating the fragrance. <br><br>Jasmine, lily, and tuberose - seemingly the most "aggressive" of white flowers, but in this case, everything is different. Femininity here can be seen from different sides: on one hand, it's passion and sexuality, and on the other, an unattainable but attractive tenderness. The pink color of the liquid seems to soften everything, giving the fragrance a special lightness. <br><br>Narcotic Venus resembles a snow-white bridal bouquet, symbolizing a transition to a new stage of life, full of adventures. This fragrance is like a symbol of rebirth, and for that, Alessandro Gualtieri deserves credit. It particularly unfolds in windy weather, when the sillage demonstrates all its beauty

To be honest, the scent didn't impress me at all at first. On that hot July day, it was just intrusive and annoying. But then in autumn, when it got cooler, I decided to give it a second chance. And that's when it unfolded differently! Leather, almond, sage with lavender - all of it started to smell much better. Vanilla and coumarin added warmth, and amber brought tenderness. The result was a pretty interesting mix, which, although complex, was somewhat balanced. This neo-fougère really captures Ford's style, but I can't say it became my favorite. It might work for transitional seasons, but nothing more than that

Ombre Leather Parfum - this is one of those fragrances I've been eagerly awaiting this year. I've already shared my opinion on the previous version of Ombre Leather, as it's truly a beloved leather fragrance by Tom Ford. I can't help but talk about the new parfum! It has become softer and more rounded. By removing sharp contrasts, as they did with Black Orchid in the parfum version, they intensified the middle, which made the fragrance more harmonious. In the opening, violet provides a velvety touch, and the floral accord is complemented by exquisite iris, which, combined with jasmine, makes the leather accord more elegant and expensive. In the base, oakmoss was reduced and tobacco was added, giving the fragrance depth and interesting overtones. It's a recognizable and much-loved fragrance, but now it has become deeper and more captivating. The sharpness of the previous version's chypre structure has softened, making it more pleasant. This fragrance evokes a real storm of emotions and leaves no one indifferent!! In just a few days of wearing it, more people asked about it than for an entire year with other fragrances from my collection. The technical characteristics are simply excellent! In my opinion, this is the best version of Ombre Leather among all available right now

Synthetic Jungle by Frederic Malle is something amazing, 50 shades of green that make you think. Frederic Malle's fragrances always impress with their creativity and freedom of thought. Although not all of them resonate with me, it's impossible not to notice how highly they value quality and harmony. Anne Flipo, uninhibited in her ideas, created a true green symphony with Synthetic Jungle. This fragrance is not just a concept; it shows how synthetics and nature can coexist. The opening of the fragrance is a bright green of galbanum, hyacinth, and basil, creating a sensation of freshness, as if you're holding crushed nettles in your hands. Green notes sparkle, from emerald basil to bright galbanum, like a bouquet wrapped in delicate lily of the valley, while oakmoss adds depth. After a couple of hours, the bitterness disappears, and the fragrance transforms into a light musky lily-of-the-valley cloud, where jasmine adds roundness and a floral touch. This bold neo-chypre will definitely go down in perfume history. I have no doubt that Synthetic Jungle will be mentioned in articles about chypres. Frederic Malle and Anne Flipo create true masterpieces
