I bought this perfume, inspired by a review on the German Douglas website. There was only one entry where a woman shared her joy of the purchase, as she had been looking for something special for a long time. This intrigued me. When I read that there were no reviews here, I was surprised. But, in principle, it's understandable - not many people have seen it, and not everyone is familiar with the MCM brand. I have a bag from this luxury brand, and their quality is truly top-notch. I was sure that MCM would create something masterful, yet simple at the same time. And then, a miracle happened! From the first sniff - complete delight. This is real magic! When it runs out, I'll buy it again, no doubt. This is a love that will last. And the price - 15-20 euros for 50 ml. Longevity - 12 hours, and I can feel it on my skin
Where is this CHAMPACA I crave so much? This fragrance only has 50% of it! And the price, by the way, is not at all pleasing. Champaca is a true deity that came to us, but in this perfume, it's just not there
I tested Sahara Noir, and it really surprises with its originality. But Tom Ford's Violette Blond is not for me. It reminded me of when I was 15 and used "Shahrazad" perfume. Of course, I'm exaggerating a bit, but these memories of the 80s, when girls were simply overwhelmed with this scent, don't leave me. In the end, I decided it's better to be closer to reality, to people, and chose WP. But the real patchouli is almost imperceptible there. Patchouli is a smell that reminds you of something old, of money that only you know about. And I like this "cockroach" scent. But WP is something for show-offs, for those over 40. It's like it screams: "Look at me, I'm a blonde, smart and beautiful in emeralds!" I made myself this way: from an ordinary girl, I transformed into a style icon, like Marlene Dietrich. But WP doesn't associate for me with a commercial heroine, although Erykah Badu is an amazing woman. All Tom Ford fragrances last more than 24 hours on me, sometimes up to 30. But this fragrance, in my opinion, is only suitable for winter, especially for German winter - it's damp and cold here
Ylang-ylang? Honestly, I didn't notice it. I have ylang-ylang from Mauritius, and it's simply magnificent, rich, shimmering with all the shades of sun and sea. This new release didn't appeal to me at all. The bottle, by the way, isn't bad, it really reflects transparency, but the fragrance itself isn't impressive
The fragrance is interesting, of course. At first, I was a bit wary of it, but when it starts to unfold on the skin, the feeling changes. It's long-lasting and has a peculiar scent. Most likely, it's more about acceptance than rejection. Girls under 40 better stay away from it. If you watch the movie "Ship of Fools" with Simone Signoret, you'll immediately understand if you need this perfume. The other day, they brought in a full size for 8 euros, so I'm definitely getting a second bottle. Dita, please create something else with interesting notes, but more sophisticated. P.S. If you want, check out my YouTube channel, I've already done a review of this fragrance
A sweet and stuffy scent, it just makes my head split. The bottle, of course, looks beautiful and enchanting, but that doesn't save the situation. I'm sure there will be lovers of this perfume, as it's really good, but it just didn't suit me. Something is missing, one note is clearly lacking. I've been to Greece twice, to those places where gods dwell and where tourists don't always reach. If we're talking about a connection to Olympus, then this perfume is only 40% of true Olympian gods
I've adored this perfume since 1989. In my teenage years, it simply captivated me. I dreamed that when I grew up, I would definitely buy it. This fragrance stuck with me - aristocracy is felt in every note. I don't know how it smells now, but childhood memories don't lie. and they really didn't lie. My Leonard has finally arrived. The scent has changed a bit over time. Am I right that it's no longer produced? In childhood, it was different because it was a fresh batch then. What came now is similar, but the first impression is - you need to spray too much to feel it. In the 80s-90s, one spray was enough, and everything around was filled with the scent. But now: musk and something unpleasant, like Revlon Blue. But after 15 minutes, it starts to unfold, and yes, it's the same Leonard: noble, aristocratic, and incomparable. If you try it once, you won't confuse it with anything else. A wonderful fragrance from a talented designer. Everything in it - the scent, the stylish bottle, and the advertising - in a word, a RARE masterpiece
