Fruits in perfumery aren't my thing, but here I'm pleasantly surprised! Banana, specifically the one ripened under the bright sun, not one that traveled a long way to us - that's what I feel. This scent from Sicily Dolce&Gabbana fills you with energy, it seems to radiate joy. I distinctly sense both the banana pulp and its velvety peel. In Velocity, there's a powdery note, but it's not dry, rather moist; citruses on my skin seem to play hide-and-seek, and woody accents only appear at the very end of this banana story. Berries and orchids weren't added here, but that's okay - there are plenty in other fragrances. I have a bottle a colleague gave me, it shimmers like an oil slick, and was created about three years ago. She couldn't stand citrus, and was shocked when she realized I smelled of banana and couldn't find any citrus)))) The longevity of the fragrance is moderate, a maximum of three hours, and that's just what's needed, it doesn't have time to get boring

A fragrance that embodies femininity. It's soft and gentle, like a warm cloud. The notes are rounded, without harsh accents. It's like an amber stone that holds eternity. There's a rare harmony and tranquility felt when it touches the skin. At first, a light bergamot is heard, but it quickly fades into the background, making way for a fragrant rose that remains prominent for a long time. In the background, quiet whispers of irises and narcissuses are heard - they are very captivating. Tuberose and jasmine are not detectable, perhaps they prefer a different time of day. The rose, multifaceted and richly scented, unfolds, painting images of English gardens. Gradually, it merges into sandalwood and amber. On silk. Jasmine is sweet but not too intrusive, and tuberose is almost unopened, green. But still, rose remains at the heart of this fragrance. Although the longevity is only a couple of hours, it's definitely worth trying 🌸

What can I say about Herrera's blue shoe? Immediately after application, I felt blackcurrant, which is currently at its peak popularity in perfumery. The first ten minutes on my skin reminded me of Alien Essence Absolue by Thierry Mugler. Mentholated jasmine, familiar and cooling. Then I felt something familiar, as if it was one of Madonna's perfumes - Truth or Dare by Madonna Naked Madonna. Alcoholic cocoa, soft and slightly intoxicating. The bottle, by the way, looks quite attractive, and despite its construction, it's stable. The stiletto heel is golden. But, honestly, I feel like this has been done before

At first, the iris powder seems light and delicate, the violets sweet, and the roses - so rosy and skin-like. But then the musk starts to emerge, and it becomes too much. It's so brazen, animalic, simply unbearable. You can also smell civet and castoreum. In the end, you get a fragrance that clearly tries to be an aphrodisiac, but actually just irritates!

this is simply a gem for gourmands. the cookie is so crumbly it melts in your mouth. for me, this fragrance is a true Christmas fairy tale. it creates coziness, as if a gingerbread man with raisins, ginger, and cinnamon is nearby. an alcoholic note is perceptible, and it reminds me of Christopher Sheldrake's works, especially in the context of sandalwood for Monsieur Serge. with each passing minute, the strength of the alcohol intensifies, as if it's a good liqueur or cognac. I can imagine how pleasant it is to drink cognac and nibble on savoiardi-type cookies. the vanilla here is simply excellent, not too sweet, as if soaked in alcohol. beneath all this, there's a slight herbaceousness, but I can't pinpoint what it is exactly. woody notes from cognac barrels are also present. I checked the composition, and indeed, there's Mysore sandalwood - that's where this bell-like sensation comes from, like in Serge Lutens' Cedre and Santal Majuscule fragrances. I really love it!

How brightly this fragrance sounds! From the first breath, you feel passion, like a burning rose growing among medicinal herbs. There's a lot of fire, pepper, and spices swirling around the flower. For me, this is the Scarlet Flower, so sharp and memorable 🌹 The thorns of this rose are prickly, you can even imagine blood on them - such a metallic tint in the fragrance. This is definitely a women's fragrance! It reminds me of the War of the Roses - a sarcastic woman with sharp humor, sometimes even too much. Over time, berry notes start to appear in the fragrance - sweet and sour, which adds interest. Although, perhaps this fragrance isn't quite my style, it certainly attracts attention. Very powerful, not at all delicate! 🎉

In the first moments, it feels like opening a large jar of honey with various herbs and flowers floating in it. The honey is dark, amber, viscous, but not too thick. A camphoraceous undertone rises from the bottom. When inhaled, a bitterness appears in the mouth, as if it's wormwood or tobacco. Smoky and woody notes intertwine. Could it be immortelle? The herbs change: sometimes fresh, sometimes dried. At first, it seemed more suitable for men, but then it became clear - it's feminine. Sweet and bitter almond are present. The scent isn't static, it changes on the skin, it plays. But the strawberry slightly spoils the whole picture, adding sweetness and sourness against a smoky woodiness. TOP EMOTION!
