Description of the composition

The scent of Cooper Square is shaped as a living composition, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Bond No. 9 is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Spicy and Alcoholic enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In wear duration Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.

Right at the start you detect sparkling-drinkable first notes: Cognac, Juniper berries and Spices.

In the heart you sense Frankincense, Lavender, Myrrh and Patchouli keeping a resinous meditative direction.

The fragrance opens with cognac, spices, and juniper berries. The heart reveals notes of patchouli, Bulgarian lavender, myrrh, and olibanum. It concludes with vetiver, musk, cashmere wood, and French labdanum

The scent is somewhat sour and spicy, you can clearly feel alcohol in it, which seems to be trying to hide behind the sweetness of berries and the tartness of patchouli. But, honestly, it doesn't evoke any delight. A very strange combination that doesn't impress. I don't know how anyone could call this interesting!!

This scent smells like it's made of some kind of scrap metal, and honestly, the bottle isn't pleasing to the eye either. Spicy notes and cognac seem to be there, but they don't make it hot and passionate, they just sound kind of strange. The patchouli notes, barely audible, are not impressive at all. How could they make such a metallic perfume from oriental notes? It's just awful, not delightful 😒

This fragrance, in my opinion, is truly interesting! It seems to change, smoothly transitioning from one note to another, as if magic is happening. Spicy, with a slight coolness and warmth, and also a metallic hint. The ending surprised me the most! The base of Cooper Square by Bond No. 9 unfolded on me in a way that I can't precisely describe, but it's a very decent and familiar masculine perfume. It seems one of my ex-boyfriends smelled exactly like this. So I concluded that this fragrance is more masculine than feminine 😄
