Description of the composition

The composition of Dubai Garnet unfolds as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Bond No. 9 is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Ambery, Balsamic, Citrus and Earthy / Mossy. The framework further includes Floral, Fruit, Green and Musk.

Right at the start you catch piquant warm top notes: Bergamot, Cardamom, Pink pepper and Seaweed.

At the core of development you detect Caraway, Jasmine, Lavender, Magnolia, Plum and Rose keeping a velvety rose-iris direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Floral without random overlap. Additional accords such as Fruit, Musc, Wood and Amber expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.

Overall Dubai Garnet reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The opening of this composition evokes nostalgia: a delicate blackberry aroma, bittersweet salty notes of seaweed, the freshness of bergamot, velvety spicy nuances of cardamom and pink pepper. In the heart, the spiciness of jasmine unfolds, blending with the vanilla-lemon scent of creamy magnolia, silky notes of rose and lavender. Honeyed plum and spicy hints of caraway weave into this floral bouquet, creating a sense of loss. This melancholic symphony concludes with a trail where deep accents of smoky myrrh, moist woody notes of vetiver, the subtle spicy-forest scent of oakmoss, gentle musk, and refined amber intertwine 🌧️

It's a crappy scent, to be honest. It starts with lavender, but then spices and sweet fruits burst in. The combination is strange, of course. It seems beautiful, but at the same time, there's a certain softness and freshness that gives no peace. I can't figure out if I like it or not

An oriental floral fragrance, it has so much: spices, mosses, resins, fruits. It's like stepping into some harem. There's greenery, languor, and masculine notes. The longevity is just excellent. It projects, it doesn't let go
