The olfactory structure of Harrods Oud Patchouli evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Bond No. 9 is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

In a unified mixed pyramid the opening appears as one connected movement with a multi-layered petal mood: Ambergris, Geranium, Leather accord, Myrrh, Patchouli, Rose and Saffron.

The middle and base stages are read as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Floral, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Amber, Leather and Spicy add depth to the backdrop.

The fragrance is cold, with a slight tartness, you can sense a combination of flowers, bitter herbs, and spices in it. Maybe it's not the most successful one from the whole collection, but it still has its upsides 🤔
